Hook and Latch Installation
4:15 pm - 5:00 pm
Finishing, care and takedown, pricing and booking your first client, and photos of your work .

Our Mission
Braids Bar Hawaii LLC is Mauiʻs premier braiding salon with a vision to train and employ future entrepreneurs in the braiding and natural hair industry. Weʻre building a braiding community on Maui and training braiders from our community, giving them a skill, a supportive place to grow and a path to steady work. Every class helps make our mission possible. Why becoming a braider now matters?
Hawaiʻii passed Act 74 in 2026. Starting January 1, 2028, natural hair braiders will register with the state instead of needing a full cosmotology license. Registration will require a state-approved course on sanitation, health and safety.
This means more people on Maui will be able to braid as a career. Braids Bar Hawaii wants to be ready to help those who are passionate about braiding do it well.
